I made these eggs way back in the mid 90's
and traded them for two blown ostrich eggs. These Easter Eggs were
pictured in a book about decorated eggs from all over the
world. The egg collector, Gerda Abildgaard wrote the book.
(1997).
The eggs in this book, though made in a lot
of different crafts, are a great source of inspiration to me,
when I make my clay eggs. |

Boring officepens made prettier with polymer
clay. They are not covered Bic stick pens - the entire barrel
is clay. It was a Claypen project, and the picture was spotted
by Cynthia Tinapple, owner of the very estimated blog
Polymer Clay Daily
I owe credit to
Sue Haeser for the instructions on making these pens,
given in her book "Creative Home Decor in Polymer Clay " |

This inro is the February image in a 2008 wall
calendar put together by a polymer clay and glass artist from
California, Kathi Gose. Artists from around the world have
contributed to this project, and I'm proud to have my work on
display in such great company. The calendar can be
purchased here - and you can find
Kathi's art
here. |
