In the early fall of 2004, PCC member Jackie Sieben,
opened a chatroom with a weekly chat about a PC project. The purpose is to
encourage clayers to further their skills by trying out a technique/project
which is new to them - or retry something, that has been too much of a
challenge. Almost every Thursday a bunch of us polyholics get together,
viewing and discussing each other's work, exchange our knowledge, ask and
answer questions and solve the problems of the world. Next weeks project
is decided within the group, but there is no obligation to do a project to
come and join the chat - everybody is welcome.
Apart from having tons of fun in these chats, I, for one, have learned a
lot from being gently pushed towards new techniques.
